DSIV invites to Data Security Day: Focus on cyber security
07.11.2025Every second company in Germany has already been the victim of a cyber attack. However, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular are often still uncertain about how best to counter such threats. The German Bulk Solids Industry Association (DSIV) is therefore hosting the “DSIV Day: Data Security and Cyber Security” on November 13. The event will be hosted by DSIV member company OAS AG in Bremen, which combines production technology and IT security in its comprehensive portfolio. High-profile speakers will bring participants up to date on the latest developments.

Florian Kiel, TÜV Rheinland, will talk about regulatory requirements and the role of standardization. Janek Rülfing from IT security specialist Sophos will demonstrate how those responsible in companies can make IT security future-proof and resilient. Dennis Carstens and Carsten John, NW Assekuranzmakler ProRisk, will highlight options for cyber insurance coverage. Christian Hinkelmann from the host company OAS will give a concrete presentation on how data security and cyber security can be implemented in a meaningful, secure, and efficient manner for companies and production.
The target audience for this one-day event is those responsible for IT security in companies – in small businesses in particular, these individuals are often part of the management team. On the evening of the event, there will be an opportunity to talk to the speakers and other participants during the joint evening program. Details about the event, including the complete program and the option to register directly, can be found on the DSIV website. Interested parties can also register directly there.
